Material Girls was started in 2001. It was started with a group of quilters who love to make quilts for others. We meet 2 times a month to do so. We have made quilts for Angels and Elves, Haiti Earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, Manchester Veterans Home, Merriman House, Mineral Springs, Mountainview Nursing Home, Project Linus, Christmas Can Cure, Wrap-a-Smile, Starting Point, and others that have asked. It is a group of ladies that love to give to others thru a special skill that they have. They turn no one away that would like to help them make quilts.
